My favorite books of 2012 -
My Stubborn Heart by my sweet friend Becky Wade. Home Front by Kristin Hannah. Thunder and Rain by Charles Martin. This last summer I read everything written by Elin Hilderbrand, but my favorite was Beach Club.

AJ loved Unbroken. He had told me so much about it when he was finished, I didn't read it. I knew the story.

Jane - Yay! I am adding these books to my list. Jake read Unbroken before me, too, so every time I would say "Oh, noooo......" Jake would ask where I was in the book and would say "That's nothing. Every time you think it's as bad as it will get it gets WORSE." And, yeah ... he was right. But such a beautifully written book. And such an incredible story. Jake and I think all complaining teenagers should have to read this book.

New to me this year was "The Help." Loved it! I got it in March and because I had a baby in February, I just now finished it.

The Help is one of my favorites ... and I LOVED reading books when my babies were new babies! You'll always remember that's the book you were reading when he/she was born!
