Ah, November 1. You're such a welcome respite from the birthday celebration mayhem (of our own making, we concur) that nips at our heels all throughout September and October, capped with the sugar madness of Halloween.
We know, all too soon time gains steam, and it's Thanksgiving, and then it explodes into a maelstrom of shopping and stockings and cookies and ornaments and pine-scented candles on Dec. 1 (or right freaking now, if you are a retailer.)
So we sure are grateful for your vibrant colors and dappled sunshine today, November 1. Try not to fade too fast, okay?
